OUR DESIGNS & PERFORMANCE – We offer a variety of residential style accessories with accessibility (ADA) products. All of our models lean towards minimalism but emphasize strength and reliability. Our design persona can be characterized as "the strong, silent type". We're here to complete your tile shower ensemble plus perform for a lifetime. Paging through our website, you will notice lighter scaled components, minimal wall terminations, and smaller decorative covers and escutcheons. These design details are intentional and make us different from other accessory manufacturers. TileWare is the principal resource for mounting accessories in tile surfaces while maintaining waterproofing, using our patented PermaTile™ rough-in anchoring technology. Our method combines tile board, thinset, tile, and our waterproof anchor to create a super-strong structure. Our anchoring approach changes the performance of accessories mounted onto tile surfaces. By blending all these mechanical properties, TileWare transfers weighted load across the entire tile wall using thinset cement. Our anchors are superior to plastic or hollow wall types. Even when wood blocking is present, screw attachment penetrates causing catastrophic waterproofing failure. Both methods are inferior because they void manufacturers' warranties. PermaTile™ anchors work like rebar in cement, which combines our perforated stainless-steel metal with thinset adhesive (the principal adhesive used when installing floor and wall tiles). We manufacture these anchors by welding a solid stainless-steel turning (with internal threads) to a perforated stainless steel sheet metal base... we call them "rough-in anchors." When bedded behind the tile in thinset, these anchors provide a durable and permanent mounting solution for a lifetime. Also, with PermaTile™, mountings are visible, and there's no searching for wood studs. This is because when you integrate our anchoring technology, you can see exactly where the attachment point is, eliminating guesswork and drilling through waterproofing. Further, wood screws are typically supplied by global manufactures; creating many vulnerabilities. First, wood screws are made from plated carbon steel, which is a metal that rusts in wet environments. Second, over time these screws eventually bend and stretch the wood fiber causing the accessory to pull away from the wall. TileWare's quality anchors are mounted with stainless steel machine screws. These machine screws are coated with a thread locker to ensure mounts won't loosen. Our smallest PermaTile™ anchor, after testing, reached a breaking capacity of 1175 pounds... that is impressive performance. You might ask, "why is it necessary to be so strong... it is just a 16 oz container and a bar of soap?" Our anchors aren't just about holding weight alone; it's also about how individuals can interact with an accessory for a lifetime and they never hang, loosen, pull away or rust.
